Day 1 - 2: Mikumi National Park

Depart from Dar es Salaam by road to Mikumi National Park, enjoy hot lunch and fantastic game viewing. 
Go on sunrise and sunset game drive safaris touching every of part of the park. Visit the Mkata Chamgore and Mkata river flood plain; rich in wildlife. Overnight at Foxes Safari Camp.

Day 3: Udzungwa Mountains

Travel to the Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Under the guidance of a park ranger, go on a 4 hour trek through the enchanted forest of leafy glades freckled with sunshine all the way to the Sanje waterfalls. Overnight at Foxes Safari Camp.

Day 4 - 6: Ruaha National Park

Drive to the beautiful Ruaha National Park; explore its hilly scenery full of rocky kopjes and ancient baobab trees. Keep an eye out for elephant, lion, buffalo, cheetah, wild dog and leopard, in addition to the myriad smaller creatures and amazing birds that make each southern Tanzania safari unique. Overnight at Ruaha River Lodge.

Day 7 - 9: Katavi National Park

Today you will be transferred on an early morning flight to Katavi National Park. Experience traditional wildlife game drive safaris in a customised land rover during your three-day stay here. Katavi is a true wilderness, a perfect safari destination for the true safari aficionado. Overnight at Katavi Wildlife Camp.

Day 10 - 12: Selous Game Reserve

Fly to Selous game reserve, a variety of activities are offered on this southern Tanzania safari; including first-class walking safaris, delightful boat trips and fantastic 4WD game drive safaris. Selous game reserve is still an uninhabited, untamed slice of “Old Africa” and offers unforgettable game viewing in almost isolated surrounding. Overnight at Rufiji River Camp.

Day 13: Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight from Selous to Dar-es-Salaam arriving in time to catch your flight back home.
